Nancy started DHF Team, LLC in 2013 following a twenty-five year career in global agribusiness as an analyst and trader of agriculture commodities. Her group provides supply and demand forecasting for global oilseeds and grain markets, particularly in relation to risk management and price discovery for a select group of hedge funds and agriculture companies. Prior to the launch of DHF Team, Nancy worked with Bunge Ltd for nine years as a director of agricultural research in several areas, including building new research efforts for North American grains and oilseeds, Global Biofuels, and in Geneva, Switzerland, establishing a team covering Europe, FSU, and the Middle East – North Africa region.
She also has a long history previous to that with Bellingham Commodity Trade Analysis in Washington, DC, covering global oilseeds and markets on a daily basis. She started in the industry with Louis Dreyfus Corp in Wilton, CT as an analyst and trader of cash US wheat and oilseed products. Her early background includes a Masters in Agricultural Economics from Iowa State University and a B.S. from Oklahoma State University, having grown up on a large livestock and wheat farm in Southern Kansas.
